Kinzua- Habitat Improvements 1991-2001
The charts below show the numbers for habitat improvements since 1991. These include 4 different types of structures- Christmas Tree Reefs, Porcupine Cribs, Bass Nesting Structures, and Channel Cat Nesting Boxes. You can view all 4 of these structures at Red Bridge when the lake is low.
We'll start with the Christmas Tree Reefs. The 2 columns on the left give you a breakdown by location (e.g. Willow bay, Red bridge, etc). They're broken down by year, total number of trees, and total number of reefs ( in parentheses ). We use approximately 9 trees to build one reef.
The 2 columns on the right show the total of trees we put in for any given year.
