Kinzua [Kin-zoo] Fish & Wildlife Association (KFWA) is a non-profit volunteer organization "dedicated to the restoration and preservation of fish and wildlife food and cover." Our work is focused in the Allegheny National Forest and Allegheny Reservoir (Kinzua Dam) area of McKean and Warren Counties in northwest Pennsylvania (a.k.a. "Kinzua Country").
KFWA is not a hunting and fishing club; we are a working organization. KFWA performs several different types of habitat improvement projects throughout "Kinzua Country". These projects are conducted in cooperation with various government agencies: Allegheny National Forest (ANF), Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission (PFBC), Pennsylvania Game Commission (PGC), and US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE).
While our membership is concentrated in northwest Pennsylvania, many members live in the Pittsburgh Metro area, and own or visit camps in "Kinzua Country". Members come from all walks of life, and anyone willing to lend a hand is always welcome.
